Anti-perpendicular is when two things are not perpendicular, but kind of opposite to being perpendicular.
Imagine you're playing with your building blocks. If you put one block straight up and another block going directly left from it, they form a perfect corner, like the inside of a room. That’s perpendicular.
Now imagine you tilt that second block so it's not going left anymore, but kind of slanted forward. It doesn't make that perfect corner anymore, that’s anti-perpendicular. It’s like when you're trying to stack blocks, and one is just not matching up the way you want it to.
Like a Slanted Slide
Think of a slide in a playground. A normal slide goes straight down, like perpendicular. But if the slide was slanted forward or backward, not going straight down, that would be anti-perpendicular. It’s still a slide, but it's just not matching up perfectly with the ground.
So anti-perpendicular is when things are not at perfect right angles, but they're kind of opposite to being perpendicular, like a slanted slide or a wobbly block tower.
