What is an Anti-VILLAIN?

An anti-villain is someone who wants to do something bad, but ends up doing something good, or at least less bad, because of it.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car, and a big kid bumps into you on purpose. That’s like a villain, they want to mess you up. But then the big kid says, “I’m sorry,” and even lets you race against them. Now that’s an anti-villain! They wanted to bother you, but in the end, they made things better.

Why It Happens

Sometimes anti-villains don’t realize what they’re doing, like when a kid throws a tantrum in the grocery store because they want candy. But then, they get the candy, and everyone is happy. That’s an anti-villain too!

Other times, they do it on purpose, maybe to make you laugh or feel better, even if they didn’t mean to.

So, an anti-villain is like a tricky friend who starts off being annoying but ends up helping you out, or at least not hurting you as much as they wanted to.
