What is Almost 1?

"Almost 1" is when something gets really close to being whole, like a pizza that’s almost finished.

Imagine you have one big pizza, and it's divided into slices. If you eat just one slice, you're left with almost 1 whole pizza, not quite all of it, but very close.

If you have 10 pieces of candy and give away just 1, you still have 9 out of 10, which is like having almost 1 full bag of candy. You're missing just a little bit to make it completely whole again.

Think about climbing a ladder with 10 rungs. If you've climbed 9 rungs, you're just one step away from the top, that’s almost 1 full ladder climb!

So "Almost 1" is like being really close to having everything, just a little bit missing, but not much at all.
