What is Africa?

Africa is like one big, colorful playground that has many different games being played all at once.

Africa is a continent, which means it's a huge piece of land with lots of countries inside it, kind of like how your school has many classrooms in one building. In Africa, you can find deserts, rainforests, mountains, and even big rivers that are like the veins of the continent.

Imagine you have a family where everyone lives in different houses but still shares the same yard, that's kind of what Africa is like. Some people live near the Sahara Desert, which is so hot it feels like being inside an oven, while others live in places like Kenya, where they play with animals like lions and elephants every day.

Africa has many different groups of people who speak different languages, kind of like how your classmates all have their own names and ways of talking. Some people live near the Nile River, which is so long it could stretch from one end of your playground to the other!

Africa is a huge, exciting place with lots of stories waiting to be told.
