What It Does
How It Works
A chatbot doesn’t have feelings or thoughts like you do, at least not yet! But it's really good at following rules and patterns. You can think of it like a super-smart game that learns from the questions you ask. If you ask, “What’s 2 + 2?”, the chatbot might say, “4!”, just like your teacher would.
Some chatbots are very simple, like a vending machine that gives you what you asked for. Others are more complex and can even remember things from earlier in the conversation! They're kind of like your favorite apps, always there to help, one message at a time.
Examples
- Imagine a robot who answers questions when you text it, like a helper in your pocket.
- Chatbots are used by companies to help customers with their problems quickly.
