What is 12 months?

12 months is like having 12 different seasons to play and grow through in one year.

Imagine you have a big toy box that changes every few weeks, sometimes it's full of blocks, sometimes it's filled with balls, and other times it has puzzles or crayons inside. Each change in the toy box is like moving from one month to another.

A Year is Like a Big Playdate

A year has 12 months, just like you might have 12 friends coming over for a big playdate. Each friend brings something new, maybe one brings a slide, another brings a jungle gym, and so on. Each month is like a different friend bringing a new game to the party.

Counting Months Like Counting Your Fingers

You can count the months just like you count your fingers: January (1), February (2), March (3), April (4), May (5), June (6), July (7), August (8), September (9), October (10), November (11), and December (12). That’s 12, just like the number of fingers on both your hands!

So, 12 months is a year, full of new games, new friends, and lots of fun!
