What does "simultaneously" mean?
How do we see this in real life?
Think of a toy that has two lights: one red and one blue. When both are on, it looks purple. But if you blink your eyes fast, you might see the red and blue separate, like they’re 0 and 1 at the same time.
This idea is used in computers too! They use tiny switches to do amazing things, just like how you can turn lights on and off to make cool patterns. So, 0 and 1 are like a switch that can be both off and on, all at once, it’s like having two choices in one little spot.
Examples
- Imagine a door that is both closed and open simultaneously.
- A person who is both awake and asleep all at once.
