What If We Put the Earth's Water on Mars?

What if we moved all of Earth’s water to Mars? It would be like giving Mars a giant, wet birthday party!

Water is something we use every day, for drinking, playing in puddles, and even washing our hands. Right now, Earth has plenty of it, but Mars is very dry, kind of like the Sahara Desert on Earth.

So imagine if we took all that water from Earth and poured it onto Mars. It would cover the whole planet with lakes, rivers, and maybe even oceans! That would make Mars much more friendly for people or robots who want to live there.

How Big Is the Water Party?

If you think of Earth’s water as a huge glass of juice, it's like we took that whole glass and dumped it on Mars. It would be so much water that it might even cover some mountains!

But don’t worry, Earth wouldn’t run out of water completely. We’d just be sharing a little bit with our Martian friend.
