What if everything you see is just a trick your brain plays on you?
Imagine you're looking at a rainbow. It's bright and colorful, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. But what if I told you that the rainbow isn't really there? What if it's just light bending in the air, and your brain is making up colors that aren’t actually there?
Like a Dream
Sometimes when you’re asleep, you dream about flying or talking to animals. But when you wake up, you know it was all made up, a fantasy your brain created.
The idea that the universe could be an illusion is kind of like dreaming, but instead of just for a little while, maybe it’s been going on forever! What if everything you think is real, your toys, your family, even the sky, is just part of a big, never-ending dream?
Like Looking in a Mirror
Think about looking in a mirror. You see yourself, but you know that reflection isn’t you, it’s just light bouncing back. Maybe the whole universe is like that mirror, and we're just seeing reflections of something even bigger!
