What Happened Before the Big Bang?

The universe started from a single point that exploded and grew into everything we see today, but there was something before that explosion too.

Imagine you're blowing up a balloon. You blow air into it, and it gets bigger. Now picture the whole universe as the surface of that balloon. Before the Big Bang, the universe was like a tiny, squished-up balloon, super tight and hot.

What Was It Like Before?

Before the Big Bang, everything was crushed together in one really small spot. Think about it like a sponge you squeeze so hard that all the water gets pushed out, except this time, it wasn’t just water; it was the whole universe!

Then, poof! The balloon started expanding, or in our case, the universe began to grow rapidly. That’s what we call the Big Bang.

What Was It Like After?

After that explosion, everything spread out and cooled down. The hot, tight spot became the space we live in today, with stars, planets, and you! So even though we don’t know exactly what came before the Big Bang, we do know it was a really tiny and super hot place, just waiting to explode into the universe we know.
