Resilience is like having a super strong spring inside you that helps you bounce back after a fall.
RISE stands for Remember, Imagine, Strong, Energy, it’s a way to help people learn how to be more resilient. It's especially helpful for kids who are learning how to handle tough times.
Like Bouncing Back from a Tumble
Imagine you're playing on the jungle gym and you fall off. At first, you might feel sad or even hurt. But resilience helps you get back up again. Remember what you did before, maybe you climbed higher last time. Imagine how cool it will feel when you make it to the top again. You are Strong, just like a tree that bends in the wind but doesn’t break. And then you have Energy, that’s the spark inside you that helps you keep going.
A Bounce in Your Step
Think of resilience as your favorite trampoline. When life pushes you down, it helps you bounce back up with more fun than ever!
