What does it mean to have experienced a situation before?

It means your brain is saying, "I know this!", because it has seen something like this before.

Imagine you’re playing with blocks. One day, you stack them up and they fall down. You feel confused. But the next time you try to stack them, your brain goes, “Oh! I remember when this happened before!” So now, instead of being surprised, you might just laugh or say, "I know what's going to happen!"

Like a Familiar Song

Think about a song you love. The first time you hear it, you don’t know all the words. But after hearing it many times, you can sing along without even thinking. That’s like having experienced a situation before, your brain has learned the tune (or the pattern), and now it knows what comes next.

Your Brain is Like a Smart Friend

Your brain is kind of like a smart friend who watches you play. When something happens again, that friend goes, "Hey! I saw this happen earlier!" And then you feel more confident, because you know what’s coming. It’s like having a secret helper inside your head who says, “I’ve got this!”
