Twilight feels magical because the sky changes color in a special way. When the sun goes down, it’s not completely gone, some of its light still reaches Earth through the air. This makes the sky look pink or orange, like a painting. The longer the light travels through the air, the more it spreads out, and that’s why we see these cool colors during twilight.
Examples
- The colors change from blue to orange when the sun goes down.
- You see an orange glow on the horizon after dinner.
