Why does water help?
Water fills in all the little bumps on the road, making it flat and smooth. When light hits this new flat surface, most of it bounces back at once, creating that shiny mirror-like look.
Examples
- A puddle on the road reflects the sky like a mirror.
- Wet tiles at home can also reflect light like a mirror.
