What Causes the Seasons and How Do They Affect Us?

Imagine the Earth as a spinning top, and the Sun as its light source. The Earth is tilted like a wobbly top, when one side of the Earth leans toward the Sun, that side gets more sunlight and becomes summer. When it leans away, it’s winter. This tilt stays the same as the Earth moves around the Sun, so we have different seasons in different parts of the world. Seasons help plants grow, animals hibernate, and even change how much daylight we get each day.
