At sunrise, the sky turns pink because the sunlight has to travel a longer path through Earth’s atmosphere. This makes the blue light scatter away, and the red and pink colors stay behind. It's like when you shine a flashlight through a glass of water, some colors go out, and others stay inside.
Examples
- Imagine a flashlight shining through a foggy room, the light becomes more visible as it travels further.
