The Northern Lights are like a magic show in the sky. They happen when tiny particles from the sun, called solar wind, zoom into Earth's atmosphere and dance with magnetic fields. These dances make the air glow with beautiful colors, green, pink, and sometimes even purple! You can see them best if you're near the North Pole or in places like Norway or Alaska.
Examples
- If you live in Alaska and see green ribbons of light in the sky, it's the Northern Lights having fun.
