What Causes the ‘Golden Hour’ and Why Is It So Magical?

The golden hour happens because the sun is low in the sky, and its light has to travel through more air. This makes the light softer and warmer, like a gentle hug from the sun! The extra air also scatters some of the blue light, leaving behind the warm colors we see as gold or orange. It's why pictures look so magical during this time.
