What causes morning flatulence?

Morning flatulence happens because your body is doing some quiet work while you sleep, like a sleepy chef baking cookies in the kitchen.

Your tummy has little helpers called bacteria, and they’re very busy when you're asleep. These tiny workers eat parts of what you ate earlier, and sometimes they make gas as a byproduct, kind of like how your brother might make a loud toot after eating too many beans.

Why it happens in the morning
