When Companies Need More Workers
Imagine your favorite toy store is getting ready for the biggest sale of the year. They have so many toys to put on display, they need more employees to help restock shelves, greet customers, and run the cash register. That’s when employment rises, more people get jobs!
When People Want More Jobs
Sometimes, even if a company has enough work, it might hire more people because wages go up, like when you get a bigger allowance so you can buy more toys. Or maybe a new school opens nearby, and suddenly there are more kids who want to shop at the toy store.
If there are more businesses or they're working harder, they’ll need more workers, just like you might need more blocks when building a bigger tower! A company needs more workers when it has more jobs to do, just like you need more helpers when you're building a bigger fort.
