Imagine you're in a car race. If there are millions of tiny cars coming towards you all at once, it looks like a bright flash across the sky, that's what happens during a meteor shower. When comets travel through space and leave behind little bits of rock and dust, those bits fall into Earth’s atmosphere and burn up, creating meteors.
Examples
- Imagine the sky being full of tiny falling stars all at once.
- It's as if the night sky has turned into a glowing fireworks show.
