The sky can glow at night because of special lights in the air. Sometimes, these lights come from far away, like the sun reflecting off the moon or a big storm glowing above us. Other times, it's because of colors mixing together up high, like when the sun still shines on some parts of the Earth even after it has set for us.
Examples
- A stormy night might look like the sky is glowing from above.
- City lights can make the whole sky look like it's shining at night.
- The moon can make the night feel extra bright, almost like it’s glowing.
