Why It Happens
A person becomes a cult leader when people feel like they're the only one who can help. They might say amazing things or do cool stuff that looks magical. Over time, people begin to believe everything about them, and that's how a whole group of followers forms around just one person.
Examples
- A person who promises immortality in exchange for total obedience becomes a cult leader.
- A teacher who everyone thinks is magical becomes the leader of a school-wide group.
