Ancient Rome was like a big, happy family that grew too big and couldn’t take care of everyone anymore.
Rome started as a small town with just a few people, but over time, it became a huge empire with lots of cities, armies, and people from all around the world. It was like having a super fun party that kept getting bigger and bigger, more guests, more snacks, more music.
But then came the problem: too many people and not enough food or money to go around. It’s like if you had 10 friends over for pizza night, but only 2 slices of pizza, everyone gets upset!
Also, Rome had a lot of wars, which were like big arguments that turned into fights. The soldiers got tired from fighting, and the people started getting lazy or greedy.
At the same time, bad leaders came to power, some made silly decisions, like giving away too much money or letting too many people live for free. It was like having a kid who kept taking all the toys without sharing!
All these things added up, and Rome just couldn’t handle it anymore, so it fell apart, like a big tower of blocks that got knocked down!
