What are workplaces?

A workplace is a special place where people go to do their jobs and help make things happen.

Imagine you have a favorite toy that needs fixing, maybe it’s broken or just needs more batteries. A workplace is like the room (or building) where the person who fixes your toy goes every day to work. That person might be part of a bigger group, all doing different jobs that help things run smoothly.

• People: Just like you and your friends play together, people in a workplace work together.
• Jobs: Each person has their own job, which is like a special task they do every day, just like how you have homework to do at school.
• Tools and Places: A workplace might have desks, computers, or even tools that help people do their jobs better, just like your backpack helps you carry all your toys and books.

Sometimes the workplace is a big building with lots of people, and sometimes it’s a small room with just a few. But no matter where it is, it's a place where everyone works together to make things happen!
