What do vocals sound like?
How do vocals work?
Your voice comes from your lungs, which push air up through your trachea (that's the tube in your throat), and out of your mouth or nose. When you sing or talk, your vocal cords, two little muscles inside your throat, vibrate to make sounds.
If you're singing a song, it’s like playing a musical instrument, your body is the instrument, and your voice is the music!
Examples
