What are vital processes?

Vital processes are the important jobs our body does to keep us alive and healthy.

Imagine your body is like a toy robot that needs to work all day long. Just like you need to wind up your robot so it can move, your body has special tasks that help you grow, think, breathe, and feel happy.

How the Body Keeps Going

Vital processes are like the wind-up parts of this robot, they never stop working. For example:

  • Your heart is like a little pump that sends water (blood) all around your body.
  • Your lungs are like balloons that help you take in air so you can breathe.
  • Your brain is like a super smart controller that helps you think and remember things.

Without these vital processes, your robot, or you, wouldn’t be able to run, play, or even sleep. They’re always working behind the scenes, keeping you going just like your favorite toy keeps moving when it’s wound up!
