A vehicle is something that helps you move from one place to another, just like a toy car helps you zoom around your room.
What Makes Something a Vehicle?
Imagine you're playing with blocks and you want to go from one side of the room to the other. If you walk, that's great, but what if you wanted to go faster? That’s where a vehicle comes in! A car, like the ones your parents drive, is a kind of vehicle. It has wheels so it can roll, and an engine (like a tiny robot inside) that makes it go.
Different Kinds of Vehicles
You might see other kinds of vehicles too, like bikes, which you pedal with your feet, or trains, which run on tracks. Even a bus is a vehicle, just bigger than a car and used by lots of people at once!
Vehicles are like helpers that let you travel without walking all the way, they make moving from one place to another easier and more fun!
Examples
