What are users?

A user is someone who uses something, like you use your toy phone or your favorite app.

Imagine you have a toy robot that dances when you press its buttons. You are the user, and the robot is what you're using. Every time you press a button, you’re telling it what to do, just like when you play with your toys every day.

How Users Work

Think of a user as the person who makes something work by interacting with it. When you use your toy phone to draw pictures or listen to music, you're being a user. You press buttons, tap screens, and make choices, just like when you choose which game to play.

Sometimes, there are many users using the same thing at once, like how your friends all use their own toy phones but each one is still doing something different.

Why Users Matter

When someone makes a new toy or app, they think about what users will do with it. They make sure you can press buttons easily, understand the pictures, and have fun, just like when your favorite toy was made to be easy for you to play with!
