What are truck drivers?

Truck drivers are people who drive big vehicles called trucks to move things from one place to another.

Imagine you have a toy box full of toys that you want to take to your friend's house. Instead of carrying them all by hand, you could use a big cart or wagon. A truck driver is like someone who drives a really big version of that cart, only it can carry hundreds of toys (or even cars!) at once.

A truck driver gets into their truck, which is like a giant car, and starts driving on the road. They go from one city to another, sometimes even across the country, carrying things like food, clothes, or building materials.

They have to make sure they don’t run into other cars, and they also need to stop for breaks, just like you do when you're playing a long game. Some truck drivers work all day, while others drive at night, it’s like having a job that lets you travel everywhere!

Truck drivers help keep the world moving by bringing things where they need to be. Without them, your favorite snacks might not make it to the store!
