What are tropical forests?

Tropical forests are big, lively places full of trees and animals, like a giant playground that never stops having fun.

Imagine you're in your backyard on a sunny day, you have trees, grass, maybe some birds chirping. Now imagine that same backyard but bigger than the whole city, with thousands of trees towering high above, and all kinds of creatures, monkeys swinging from branch to branch, parrots flying around, snakes hiding under leaves. That's what a tropical forest is like!

Tropical forests are always busy, just like when you have a big birthday party in your room with friends playing games, singing songs, and eating cake. In the forest, trees grow new leaves, flowers bloom, animals eat and sleep, and everything happens all at once, it's a never-ending celebration!

You might not know it, but tropical forests are found in many countries, like Brazil, Indonesia, and Africa. Some people even live inside them, they grow food, build homes, and sing songs to the forest.

Tropical forests are special because they help make the air clean and keep animals safe, just like how you take care of your toys so they can play with you every day!
