Time flies are tiny creatures that help us know when it’s time to do something, like go to bed or eat lunch.
Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy. You start counting, 1… 2… 3… and then suddenly, ding!, it's snack time! That ding is a time fly telling you it's time for something new.
How Time Flies Work
Time flies are like little clock helpers. They live inside the clock, and when they finish counting to a certain number, they make a sound or show a change, like moving from 10:00 to 10:01 on your phone's screen.
Sometimes, you can see them working if you look closely at the hands of an old-fashioned clock. They're not really flying, but that’s what we call them because they seem to move quickly and help time pass by!
