What are threats?

A threat is something that might hurt you or make things go wrong if it happens.

Imagine you're eating your favorite cookie, and suddenly a big brother jumps in front of you and says, "I want that cookie!" That’s a threat, he might take the cookie away if you don’t give it to him.

What Makes Something a Threat?

A threat is like a possible problem waiting to happen. It doesn't always come true, but it's something that could make things worse.

Think of your backpack as a superhero. If you leave it on the floor, there's a threat: someone might step on it and break your favorite pencil. That’s not fun!

Why Threats Matter

Even if a threat doesn’t happen, knowing about it helps you get ready. Like when you hear thunder before a storm, that’s a threat, and it tells you to run inside so you don’t get wet.

Threats are just like warnings in real life, they help us stay safe and happy!
