What are the ancient egyptians?

The ancient Egyptians were people who lived thousands of years ago in what is now called Egypt.

Ancient Egyptians were like a big family that had a lot of jobs and roles, just like how your school has teachers, students, and helpers. Some worked on farms, some built big pyramids, which are like giant sandwiches made out of stone. Others told stories or painted pictures on the walls of their homes.

Think of them as a super team with different powers:

• Some people were pharaohs, who were like the leaders, kind of like the principal of the school.
• There were priests who helped with things like the sun and the moon, which are like big lights in the sky that we see every day.
• People used paper made from papyrus, which is a plant, it’s like writing on special scrolls.

They also had cool tools and inventions, like the sundial, which tells time using sunlight, just like how your watch or phone tells you what time it is!

They didn’t use phones or computers, but they had their own way of making life interesting and fun.
