What are tasks?

A task is something you do to get from where you are now to where you want to be.

Imagine you're building a tower with your blocks. Each time you put one block on top of another, that’s like doing a task, it helps you reach the goal of having a tall tower!

Like a Recipe

Think of a task as a step in a recipe. If you want to make cookies, you might have tasks like getting flour, mixing ingredients, and baking the dough. Each task is important, and when you do them all, you get your favorite treat.

Or Like a To-Do List

Sometimes, tasks are like items on your to-do list. Maybe you have a task called clean my room or finish homework. When you check off each task, it feels like winning a small game, and when you finish all of them, you get to play longer!

Tasks help you break big goals into little pieces that are easier to handle, just like how blocks make a tower one piece at a time.
