What are system vulnerabilities?

A system vulnerability is like a hidden door in your toy box that lets the bad guys sneak in and take your favorite toys.

Imagine you have a super cool robot that guards your toy box. It’s strong, fast, and knows all the passwords to open the box. But one day, you notice that someone can get into the box without using any password, they just push a small button on the side of the robot, and poof, the door opens! That button is like a system vulnerability, it’s a secret way for someone to bypass the robot's protection.

How It Works

Your robot (the system) should only let you in if you know the password. But if there's a hidden button (a vulnerability), anyone can just press it and get in, even if they don’t know the password!

Why It Matters

These hidden doors are everywhere, in your phone, computer, or even your video game. If someone finds one of these secret ways in, they might steal your data, mess up your games, or even take over your robot!
