What are supply lines?

Supply lines are the paths that help things move from where they’re made to where they’re needed.

Imagine you have a favorite snack, like goldfish crackers. You get them in a big bag at the store, and then you bring them home. That bag of goldfish is like something important, like food or fuel for soldiers or toys for kids. The supply line is like the road or the truck that takes the goldfish from the store to your kitchen.

How Supply Lines Work

Think of a supply line as a chain, each link helps move things along. A factory makes something, then trucks carry it to a warehouse, and then other trucks take it to schools, hospitals, or even faraway places where people need it.

If the supply line is broken, like if there’s a traffic jam or a road is closed, it's harder for the goldfish (or whatever is being moved) to get where it needs to go. That's why keeping supply lines open is super important, they’re like the veins of a big system, making sure everything keeps moving smoothly!
