What are superstars?

A superstar is someone who is really, really good at what they do, so good that everyone notices and loves them.

Imagine you're in a playground with lots of kids playing soccer. Most kids are having fun, passing the ball around, and scoring some goals. But there's one kid who kicks the ball so far, so fast, and so accurately that all the other kids stop to watch, even the teachers come over to see what’s happening! That kid is a superstar.

Think of a superstar like a toy that shines in the sunlight. It catches everyone's eye, and no one wants to miss out on playing with it. A superstar doesn’t just play well, they make others want to watch, cheer, and maybe even join in.

Sometimes, you can be really good at something without being a superstar, but when you're a superstar, people know your name, or at least they remember the time you made that amazing goal (or hit that perfect note, or scored that winning point).
