What are soldiers?

Soldiers are people who protect others by fighting when needed.

Imagine you and your friends are playing a game where everyone has to stand together against bullies from another team. Soldiers are like the team captains in that game, they help keep things safe by standing up and fighting if someone tries to take over or hurt others.

When there's a big problem, like a war or a battle, soldiers go where the action is. They wear special clothes called armor, which helps them feel strong and protected, kind of like wearing your favorite superhero suit when you're playing outside.

They also use tools like swords, shields, and even horses to help them fight better. Sometimes they march in lines, just like how you line up for lunch or recess, but instead of waiting for the teacher, they’re getting ready to face a challenge together.

Soldiers are brave because they know that fighting might mean getting hurt, but they do it so others can stay safe and happy.
