A situation is just a special kind of story that’s happening right now around you.
Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car on the floor. You push it, and it zooms across the room, that's a situation! It’s like a little mini-adventure that’s going on in front of you. A situation is all about what's happening at this very moment, and who or what is involved.
What Makes a Situation?
A situation has two main parts:
- What's happening: Like your toy car racing, or your friend falling off the swing.
- Who or what is involved: You, your friend, the toy car, all of them are part of the story.
Think about it like this: when you're playing a game with your brother and he takes your favorite block, that’s a situation! It's not magic, it's just something happening right now that involves both of you.
Examples
- A child is lost in a mall, the situation changes depending on if they're alone or with friends.
- Someone gets stuck in traffic during rush hour, that's a different situation than getting stuck late at night.
