What are seychelles?

The Seychelles are tiny islands floating in the ocean, just like a bunch of little toy boats drifting on a big blue puddle.

Imagine you have a huge bowl of water, and in it, there are some small rocks. Those rocks are the Seychelles, they’re islands, which means they're land that’s surrounded by water. People live on those islands, just like you live in your house or apartment.

The Seychelles were once underwater, but over time, the water got thinner, and the land came up to make little islands. It's kind of like when you build a sandcastle at the beach, the water goes away, and what’s left is a cool shape made out of sand.

People who live on the Seychelles are called Seychellois, they grow fruits, fish in the sea, and sometimes even have special birds that only live there. The islands are so small you could walk from one to another if you wanted to!

The Seychelles are like a secret treasure hidden in the ocean, not too far away, but just right for making a fun adventure.
