What are sensory organs?

Sensory organs are parts of your body that help you feel and know what’s going on around you.

Your eyes are like little cameras, they take pictures of the world so you can see colors, shapes, and people.

Your ears work like fun microphones, they catch sounds, like your favorite song or your mom calling you for dinner.

Your nose is a smeller, it helps you notice smells, like cookies baking or rain after a storm.

Your tongue tastes food, it knows if something is sweet, sour, salty, or bitter.

Your skin feels things, it tells you when your hand touches something soft, hot, cold, or rough.

How They Work Together

Imagine you’re playing with a toy, your eyes see the toy, your hands feel its texture, your ears might hear it click, and maybe even your nose notices if it smells like plastic. All these sensory organs help you know what’s happening, just like different parts of a robot work together to do cool things!
