What are security risks?

Security risks are when something bad can happen if we’re not careful about keeping things safe.

Imagine you have a treasure box full of your favorite toys and candies. You keep it under your bed, but one day, you notice the lid is slightly open. That’s like having a security risk, someone might come in and take your treasure without you knowing!

What Makes a Security Risk?

Think about your door at home. If the door is locked, it's hard for strangers to get in. But if the door is left wide open, that’s a big security risk, because anyone can walk right in.

Sometimes, even if the door is closed, someone might try to pick the lock or sneak in through the window, just like how sometimes people try to take your treasure box without you noticing!

Why It Matters

When we're careful and keep our doors locked (or our treasure boxes closed), we prevent bad things from happening. That’s why it's important to know about security risks, they help us stay ready for anything!
