What are seats?

Seats are special places where people sit down to rest or enjoy something fun.

Imagine you're at a big party with lots of friends. There aren’t enough spots on the floor for everyone, so someone brings out a bunch of chairs, like little seats that each person can use. Each chair is a seat, and it’s there just for one person to sit on comfortably.

How Seats Work

When you want to sit down, you find an empty chair, walk over to it, and plop yourself on the seat part. It's like having your own little spot all to yourself at the party.

If you're going to a movie or a restaurant with many people, they have long rows of seats, kind of like a line of chairs that everyone uses one after another. That way, no one has to stand if there’s a seat free.

Seats are everywhere: in classrooms, on airplanes, and even on your favorite sofa at home. They’re just special spots made for sitting!
