What are screens?

A screen is like a window that can show pictures and videos when you touch it or use special tools around it.

Imagine you have a toy box full of colored blocks. When you press buttons on the side, the window changes to show different shapes and colors, just like how a screen works! The screen itself is like the front of the toy box: it shows everything happening inside.

How Screens Work

Screens are made of tiny lights that can turn on or off really fast. These tiny lights work together to make pictures look smooth and colorful, like when you press buttons on your toy box and see new shapes appear.

When you touch a screen, like the one on a phone or tablet, it feels like pressing a soft keyboard. It knows where you touched it and changes what you see, just like how your toy box shows different shapes based on which button you press.
