What are saxons?

Saxons are people who lived a long time ago and were really good at building things and fighting.

Imagine you're playing with blocks, that's kind of what Saxons did, but with bigger tools and more people. They built homes, roads, and even big castles out of wood and stone. Like when you build a tower in the sandbox, but they made whole towns!

Saxons were skilled warriors too, like a team of super strong kids who could beat up other teams in games. They used swords and shields, which are like big, heavy versions of your toy swords and cardboard shields.

They also had cool traditions, like having special clothes or doing dances during holidays. It was kind of like having a party every year with everyone wearing their favorite outfits.

Saxons lived in what is now England, and they helped shape the country we know today. So when you play with blocks, fight with friends, or wear your fanciest outfit, you're acting just like a Saxon!
