What are rooks?

Rooks are big, strong birds that live in places where there are lots of trees and open spaces.

What do rooks look like?

Rooks have black feathers, a pointy beak, and big, round heads. They're kind of like crows, but bigger and with a little more style, imagine wearing a hat every day!

How do rooks act?

Rooks are very social. They live in groups called flocks, and they’re always chattering and flying together. When they’re happy, you might hear them making loud caw sounds, like when your friend tells you the best joke ever.

Sometimes, you can see them walking on the ground, pecking at food or looking for snacks, just like how you might walk around looking for your favorite toy.

Rooks are smart too. They can remember where they hide their food and even work together to get what they want. It’s like when you and your friend team up to solve a puzzle!
