What are practices?

A practice is like doing something again and again to get better at it, just like how you learn to tie your shoes or ride a bike.

Like Building a Tower with Blocks

Imagine you're playing with blocks, trying to build the tallest tower. At first, the tower wobbles and falls over. But every time it falls, you try again. You notice that if you put bigger blocks at the bottom, the tower is stronger. So next time, you do that. That's a practice, you're learning by doing it again and again.

Like Learning to Ride a Bike

When you first learn to ride a bike, you wobble a lot. But every time you fall off, you get back on and try again. With each try, you feel more confident. Soon, you can ride without holding the handlebars, that’s how practices help you become better at something.

Practicing is like training your brain or body to do something smoothly, just like how you learn to tie your shoes with practice! A practice is like doing something again and again to get better at it, just like how you learn to tie your shoes or ride a bike.
