What are planetary crusts?

Planetary crusts are like the skin of planets, they cover the outside and protect what's inside.

Imagine you have a big chocolate bar. If you break it into pieces, each piece is like a planet. The crust would be like the thin layer of candy that you see on top, it’s the first thing you touch when you grab your chocolate.
