What are physical barriers?

Physical barriers are things that stop you from moving or going somewhere because they’re solid and real.

Imagine you're trying to run through a park, but there's a big wall in your way, that’s a physical barrier! It doesn’t move, and it won't let you pass unless you climb over it or go around it.

Like a Fence Around Your Playground

Think of a fence around your favorite playground. You can see the swings and the slide, but you can’t get in unless you open the gate or jump over the fence. That’s just like how physical barriers work, they block your path.

Or Maybe a Mountain Between You and Your Friend

If you're visiting a friend who lives on the other side of a mountain, that mountain is a physical barrier. It’s big, it's solid, and you can’t walk through it unless you take a long way around or hike up it.

So, physical barriers are just things in your path, like walls, fences, or mountains, that stop you from moving forward until you find a way past them!
